I just encouraged a friend of mine to Test run Windows 8 Developer Preview. I installed it from an external hard drive and got the whole system setup. Next I got the missing drivers installed and a couple of apps from acer to complete the experience.
I decided to activate the PC when I saw this warning: This version of Windows will no longer be supported from March 8.
Bummer, Windows 8 is so cool, I can't go back to the crappy Windows 7 UI. Microsoft has got to release a stable version for us
